The Commission has published three Calls for Proposals that are launched within the framework of the Hercule III Programme

The Calls for Proposals aim at providing financial support for actions to protect the Union's financial interests and to prevent and combat fraud, corruption and any other illegal activities affecting the financial interests of the Union.

The financial support consists of a grant covering up to 80% of the eligible costs for an action, such as the purchase of technical equipment or the organisation of training and conferences for law enforcement staff. The overall amount available for the three Calls for Proposals is EUR 8.9 million. The calls were announced at the last COCOLAF plenary meeting (22/05/2014) during the presentation on the Hercule III Work Programme for 2014.

The Calls for Proposals relate to (1) "Technical Assistance" actions, (2) "Legal Training and Studies" actions as well as (3) "Training, Conferences & Seminars" actions.

  • The deadline for the submission of "Technical Assistance" applications is Monday, 1 September 2014.
  • The deadline for "Legal Training and Studies" actions is Monday, 8 September 2014.
  • The deadline for "Training, Conferences & Seminars" actions is Monday, 15 September 2014.
